Workforce Initiative Planning Strategies Project – Workforce Profiles
Description: Develop 3 Workforce Profiles so Center management may better understand their workforce, project future workforce needs, and identify potential workforce issues. This project assures the hiring and retention of top talent to operate as a high performing organization.
Accomplishment: CVM completed Workforce Profiles for three (3) MCOs: Veterinary Medical Officer, Consumer Safety Officer and Chemist. Based on five years of recent historical data, this highly valuable information enabled the Center's leadership to gain a better understanding of the workforce and project future workforce trends and to identify potential workforce issues. The information is utilized by Center management to make more informed human capital decisions.
