AAALAC Visit and Accreditation
Description: Prepare for AALAC site visit for Summer 2010. This preparation will help FDA to maintain the “Gold Standard” of accreditation.
Accomplishment: AAALAC conducted the triennial site visit July 13 – 15. No mandatory items were reported and the AAALAC site visitors commended NCTR for excellence in the following areas of the Animal Care and Use program.
VS received official notification from the AAALAC on 11/22/2010 that accreditation will continue for the next three years.
