Plain Language (PL) Initiative

Description: The purpose of the Plain Writing Act of 2010 is to improve the effectiveness and accountability of Federal agencies to the public by promoting clear Government communication that the public can understand and use. Clear communication is an important component in helping FDA employees protect and promote the public health of all Americans. OES is responsible and dedicated to meeting the mandates identified in the Act.
