Social Media Communications

Description: This project will improve FDA's effectiveness in reaching our constituencies (ex., general public, news media, consumers, health care industry).

Accomplishment: In completing this project, several social media and Web 2.0 tools were developed including eight topic specific Twitter accounts, the official FDA Facebook page, the FDA Flikr page, and a number of interactive widgets. OC staff continues to improve these assets, as well as explore development of additional social media/Web 2.0 tools.
