National Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Training Program (1)
Description: This key project required The Office of Equal Employment Opportunity (OEEO) to revamp its training program and re-establish a training presence Agency-wide. Our training covers important mandatory courses which provide agency managers and employees the tools and knowledge they need to foster an optimal working environment free of discrimination and harassment so that managers and employees can focus on FDA's public health mission on behalf of the American public with optimal efficiency.
Accomplishment: This key project re-established Agency wide EEO-related training. OEEO now offers ten training courses to agency managers and employees on a wide variety of topics such as EEO compliance training, diversity training, and conflict prevention resolution training that deals with workplace communication issues. These courses provide agency managers and employees the tools and knowledge they need to create an optimal working environment free of discrimination and harassment, and possess a clear understanding of their rights and responsibilities under anti-discrimination laws and statutes.
