Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) Implementation (1)

Description: OBIEE is a comprehensive business intelligence platform that delivers a full range of analytic and reporting capabilities. Designed for scalability, reliability, and performance, OBIEE delivers contextual, relevant and actionable insight to everyone in an organization, resulting in improved decision-making, better-informed actions, and more efficient business processes. The Office of Financial Management (OFM) is implementing this business intelligence platform to provide enhanced financial reporting capabilities from our Unified Financial Management System (UFMS).

Accomplishment: The successful implementation of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) allows the FDA to improve the management of financial resources and improve reporting capabilities. The Office of Financial Operations works directly with each program by training and creating managerial and operational reports in order to meet analytical and managerial reporting needs. OBIEE also provides the flexibility to bring in other HHS and FDA data sources in areas such as Human Resources, Acquisitions, Program, etc).
