About FDA

Total number of CDRH employees who completed training events in the month (1)

Dictionary: FDA recognizes that in order to stay current with rapidly evolving science and health information, it must institute a strong training culture across the agency. This measure tracks total training attendance throughout the fiscal year. If an individual attends multiple training events/courses in a single month, the individual is counted more than once in order to deliver a depiction of overall training attendance. Training events are categorized by technical, management/leadership, professional development or administrative training events, and are determined by the audience they serve (e.g., a scientist attending a writing skills course would be grouped under professional development while a writer attending a writing skills course would be grouped under technical).
