Percent of CTRS-reporting employees who reported their time during the quarter
Dictionary: The CDRH Time Reporting System (CTRS) is the Center’s mechanism to capture employee’s time spent in both Program and Special Activities. Time reported in Program Activities is used to calculate CDRH’s Fiscal Year medical device review process cost expenditures associated with the Medical Device User Fee Amendments of 2007. CTRS Special Activity reporting is the Center’s mechanism for simultaneously collecting information that is broad-based in nature while collecting the direct time associated with the appropriate CTRS Program Activity. Special activities are areas of specific interest to the Center. In some cases, the Center reports how many FTE are devoted to a certain topic such as Counter-Terrorism. CTRS enhances strategic and operational planning by providing up-to-date time reporting and cost data; allowing review of the costs of activities and projects; and monitoring progress of work and managing performance. The measures monitor employee reporting rate. The Center goal is to have at least a 95% reporting rate.
