Dictionary: Import Actions are those actions that the Center for Tobacco Products has requested from ORA to perform on imported tobacco products. Currently the actions are based on the two Import Bulletins CTP has in effect regarding the importation of Low, Mild and Light labeled cigarettes, Flavored cigarettes and smokeless tobacco products. The data provided by ORA shows the total number of import entry lines of tobacco product for the specified time period, the number of those import entry lines that were physically examined by the field, and the number of import entry lines that were refused entry into US Commerce due to one of these two current import bulletins.
