Percentage of cases where selection/non-selection is made within 30 days of issuance of certificate during the month

Dictionary: The Atlanta Human Resource Center provides a list of best-candidates from essay and multiple choice questions included in the application submitted via USAJobs to CTP. CTP must then select a candidate to fill the position. A candidate is to be selected by the CTP hiring manager within 30 days of receipt of the certificate. This time is allotted for the hiring manager to assess candidates’ technical competency for the position through activities such as interviews or technical evaluations. Making selections on time helps ensure that the Center is fully staffed. The Office of Management is working to ensure that authorized CTP positions are filled so that the Center is fully operational and is able to carry out its core public health mission.
