About FDA
Percentage of international meeting requests received by CVM from others and that are held at CVM on a monthly basis
Dictionary: CVM’s efforts in International Outreach under the One Mission/One Program and the One Health initiatives includes effective communication with our international counterparts via meetings and training seminars hosted by both CVM and other agencies. Each meeting is set up with a specific agenda designed to share CVM’s current thinking with the visiting country representatives, as well as to provide a venue in which questions can be freely asked and answered to facilitate good communication. Strengthening public health and animal health regulatory infrastructures in foreign countries for CVM-regulated products helps to assure the quality, safety, and efficacy of products from those countries.
