Percentage of animal care/diet preparation technical personnel who are AALAS certified

Dictionary: The AALAS technician certification is well known and widely used throughout the various fields of varied fields of laboratory animal care. AALAS certification provides assurance that the animals used in research are cared for by personnel who are trained and experienced in the proper care and use of laboratory animals.

It is important that all animal care/diet preparation technical personnel are properly trained and certified so all technicians are able to provide quality animal care. Providing quality animal care will lead to quality research findings and results.
