Cumulative FY 2012 Target: 100% of 530 inspections by 9/30/2012

Dictionary: RCRM employees perform periodic ESH surveys and audits to identify deficiencies and implement corrective procedures or abatement actions. RCRM also inspects and monitors building ventilation and exhaust systems, and makes recommendations, where necessary, to decrease the possibility of workplace air contamination. Additionally, RCRM inspects and provides recommendations for any other safety compliance issues.

Safety and Environmental Compliance inspections help to not only make the FDA employees safe, but also allow for research to be conducted in a safe environment.
