Dictionary: DVS is responsible for providing quality veterinary care to NCTR’s research animals and ensuring healthy animals are available for research projects/studies.
As animals are reported sick or injured, it is DVS’s priority to provide immediate (within 1 day) attention to all animals in need of medical attention. DVS’s goal is to provide highly trained, skilled, and dedicated staff to perform animal care services whose contributions enhance the quality of the research conducted by NCTR scientists.
