• Number of written correspondence received for the Commissioner’s signature during the month: These are inquiries that need the Commissioner’s signature on the response.
• Number of written correspondence received for FDA during the month which are sent by OES to the Centers for Direct Reply: These are inquiries that are referred to the Centers for direct response
• Number of written correspondence received for FDA during the month which are kept in OES for response: These are inquiries that OES responds to directly.
