Dictionary: FDA currently uses the following social media tools to share public health information with the American public like information related to food recalls and health awareness initiatives or industry-specific content:

  • Twitter:FDA uses a variety of twitter accounts that feature content from the Centers and specific public health disciplines. The number of tweets distributed across all accounts will be reported each month.
  • Facebook: The number of times FDA posts content on the FDA Facebook page will be reported each month. The Facebook can be found at: http://www.facebook.com/#!/FDA .
  • You Tube: The number of videos posted will be reported each month.
  • Flikr The number of photos shared will be reported each month. The FDA Flikr page can be found at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/fdaphotos/.
  • Blogs: The number of FDA blog postings to OPA-managed blogs will be reported each month.
