Dictionary: To accomplish FDA’s public health mission, the agency meets with stakeholders and others interested in developing medical countermeasures (MCM) to defend against terrorism and emerging threats. One way stakeholders reach out to FDA and other Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) agencies is through MCM.gov, a web portal designed to facilitate communication and interaction with Federal agencies about development of medical countermeasures. MCM.gov is one tool FDA uses to enhance communication and inform the development of MCMs.
