Dictionary: A key focus of OWH outreach is being responsive to and anticipating the informational needs created by the diversity of women within the community we serve. Developing and disseminating health information related to FDA regulated products in English, Spanish and a number of other foreign languages provides equity of access. In addition, we actively cultivate organizations wishing to use our translations to reach their own non-English speaking audiences. Measuring the number of documents distributed through our various partnership and other mechanisms allows us to access minority and underserved populations, monitor output, and need/interest areas. In an effort to reach consumers in social media/online space, OWH utilizes online technologies such as Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/fdawomen), e-blasts, and multi-level media (videos, PSA's ,etc) to reach the public with real time, need-to-know women's health information, FDA approvals, recalls and alerts.
