Total number of initial contacts to OEEO in the quarter (All OEEO related topics via telephone calls, emails, walk-ins, etc.)

Dictionary: Complaints are typically filed as informal complaints where complainants participate either in EEO counseling or in an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) program, such as a mediation program. If the dispute is not settled through the informal complaint process, the complainant can file a formal complaint. OEEO has 180 days from the day the formal complaint is filed to make a final ruling. During the formal complaint process, OEEO will accept or dismiss the case for procedural reason (e.g., claim was filed too late) not on merit. If accepted, OEEO will investigate the complaint.
