Authors:
Sills JB, Allen JL
Drug:
TFM-(3-Trifluoromethyl-4-nitrophenol)
Fish species:
Catfish, channel
Date:
1975

Ave Weight (gm):

Ave Water temp (°C):

Water:
Freshwater
Dosage:
4 mg/l 12 h
Route:
BATH
Comments:
Residues in all 8 species were near limit of detection (0.01 ug/g) within 24 hrs. High pH in water reduces absorption (seen with increased hardness-which also incr pH). Temperature had little effect on residue levels. Hardness = 160-180, pH - 7.6-8, - residues at Withdrawal time 0 h=5.09, 4 h=2.28, 8 h=0.33, 12 h = 0.66, 24 h=0.04.
