Abstract:  This study described the development and validation of an efficient new method for detecting antibiotic drug ceftiofur residue in cattle kidney. The study was conducted because the existing regulatory method for ceftiofur residues in edible animal tissues is outdated. Once it is bridged to the old one, the new method can be used to ensure food safety.
