American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC)

The revised AdvaMed (Advanced Medical Technology Association) Code of Ethics which went into effect July 1, 2009, is intended to help IVD and other medical device companies avoid inappropriate activity in their relationships with healthcare professionals. The code further clarifies and distinguishes between appropriate and inappropriate activity between health care professionals and representatives of AdvaMed member companies, which include diagnostics manufacturers and medical device manufacturers.
