| Limitations/Specifications: |
The modified industrial starch must be used in compliance with 21 CFR 178.3520(a)(1), (b), and (c). The FCS may be added to the paper manufacturing process at a maximum level of 2 percent by weight of the dry pulp when intended for use with paper and paperboard that will contact all food types under Conditions of Use E through H described in Table 2. In addition, the FCS may be added to the manufacturing process at a maximum level of 1 percent by weight of the dry pulp when intended for use with paper and paperboard that is intended for use in contact with all food types under Conditions of Use A through H described in Table 2.
