names of these substances are found (or, in the case of some of the polymers, are implied) in 21CFR parts 175 - 178.

(Note that if a substance is mentioned in 21CFR parts 175 - 178 and, thus, is listed below, any other citations for the same substance in other sections of 21CFR dealing with food additives (parts 1 - 199 inclusive) are also cited.)
