Footnotes
- During FY17 Q4, 75 additional FDA regulators were trained on the new Preventive Controls for Human Food regulation and are conducting inspections against the Preventive Controls for Human Food regulation. This far exceeded the goal of training 33 regulators. The reason for such a large number of trained regulators this quarter is that OFS geared up for FY-2018 in which we anticipate we will need additional FDA staff trained for inspections for FSMA compliance.
- CFSAN will stop reporting this performance measure in the 4th Quarter of FY 2017. As a result of performance measures development for FSMA implementation, the Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA) will begin reporting a similar performance measure in FY 2018. To avoid duplication of efforts, CFSAN has transferred performance management reporting responsibility to ORA. Once ORA has published the new performance measure, a link will be provided on this page.
