Science Looking Forward Report

Description: At Commissioner Hamburg's request, a subcommitte of the Science Board has been formed to review the state of science at FDA, highlighting the current strengths of regulatory science at FDA and evaluating the Agency’s readiness and needs looking forward to future challenges.

Accomplishment: On September 15, 2015, the FDA Science Board subcommitee released its report, "Mission Possible: How FDA Can Move at the Speed of Science". The Science Board identified recommendations for FDA to keep pace with rapidly developing and advancing science and technology, and strengthen its workforce.
