According to Section 409(h)(1)(C) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, food contact substance notifications (FCNs) are effective only for the listed manufacturer and its customers. Other manufacturers must submit their own FCN for the same food contact substance and intended use.

Intended Use: As a stabilizer for adhesives, pressure-sensitive adhesives, and styrene-block polymers.
Limitations/Specifications*: 1. In adhesives complying with 21 CFR 175.105. 2. At levels not to exceed 1.0 percent by weight of pressure-sensitive adhesives complying with 21 CFR 175.125. 3. At levels not to exceed 0.2 percent by weight of styrene block polymers complying with 21 CFR 177.1810 in contact with food types I, II, IV-B, VI, VII-B, and VIII only under Conditions of Use C through H, as described in Table 2.
