More Information on Search Form Fields: Inspection Classification Database Search

Below is a list of search fields that are used on the Inspection Classification Database Search application. Follow the links for information on what each field offers.

Search Fields
Brief Description
Selecting an FDA District will allow the user to perform a search on those inspections conducted by that district.
Firm Name
Entering a Firm Name allows the user to perform a search for inspection results for a specific firm.
City
Entering a City allows the user to perform a search for inspection results for firms in a specific City.
State
Selecting a State allows the user to perform a search for inspection results for firms in a specific State.
Zip
Entering a Zip Code allows the user to perform a search for inspection results for firms within a specific Zip code area.
Inspection Date
Entering an Inspection Date range allows the user to search for inspections results for inspections conducted within that date range.
Selecting a Project Area allows the user to search for inspection results by Project Area. The Project Areas are categorized based on the corresponding centers (i.e., Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition, Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, Center for Devices and Radiological Health, Center for Veterinary Medicine, Office of Regulatory Affairs, and Center for Tobacco Products).
Selecting a Country/Area allows the user to search for inspection results for that Country/Area.
Selecting an Inspection Classification allows the user to search for inspection results by Inspection Classification.
