Authors:  Coyne R, Bergh O, Smith P, Samuelsen O.

Drug:  Oxolinic acid

Fish species:  Trout, rainbow

Date:  2004

Sample:  blood, plasma

Dosage:  50mg/kg 6 d*

Route:  PO

Comments:  Lab fish: Medicated feed 5g/kg fed at 1% body wt on days 1,2,3,5,7,9. Not all fish ate, 24 hr post last feeding residues were detecdted in 42 of 49 fish. Mean residue, mg/l, 24 after last feeding =0.15. Compared with previous study at 12C, mean ug/l at 24h post feed =0.14. 80th percentile 6C=0.08, 12C=0.09. Coef. of variation 6C=66%, 12C=47%.
