Title:  Depletion of isoeugenol residues from the fillet tissue of AQUI-S exposed rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss)

Authors:  Meinertz JR, Schreier TM

Drug:  Isoeugenol

Fish species:  Trout, rainbow

Date:  2009

t1/2-hr:  2

Sample:  muscle+skin

Ave Weight (gm):  503

Ave Water temp (°C):  17

Water:  Freshwater

Dosage:  8.9 mg/L 60 min

Route:  BATH

Comments:  Mean total isoeugenol-equivalent residue concentrations (ug/g) (n = 6 at each time point): 0h = 55.4, 0.5h = 32.0, 1h = 19.8, 2h = 11.3, 4h = 4.9. Composition of radioactivity defined as isoeugenol: 0h = 95%, 0.5h = 73%, 1h = 73%, 2h = 64%, 4h = 48%. During the one hour bath, there was an average decrease of 8% of isoeugenol (from 8.94 to 8.27 mg/L).
