Comments:  Of 234 fish dosed, 5 did not show a serum response to carotenoid pigments. Max 2.9 nmol/ml 12 h post dose. Rapid decrease in residue between 12-42 hr. 42 h- near baseline residue. (0-0.5 nmol/ml). Mean retention time=23.1 h. AUC 52.9 ug h/ ml. Only detected in intestin up to 12 hrs (0.3 nmol/gm), not detected in liver.
