Comments:  At 0 h post anesthesia, the mean concentration of free ms 222 in whole blood=73 mg/l. The acetylated concentration was 1.8 mg/l. Acetylated ms-222 accounted for 77-96% of ms-222 excreted renally. The blood and urine were cleared of both forms of the drug in 8 and 24 h respectively.
