Commercial Distribution Defined

Does the drug enter into U.S. Commercial Distribution after being manufactured or processed? Commercial Distribution is defined as any distribution of a human drug, except for investigational use, excepting internal or interplant transfer of a bulk drug substance between registered establishments within an affiliated company.

The term "commercial distribution" covers only drugs imported or offered for import into the United States.
