What are the requirements for notification of examination results to patients who do not have a primary health care provider?

Patients who do not have a primary health care provider must be given or sent both the written mammography report and the written lay summary within 30 days of the examination. Furthermore, when the assessment is “Suspicious” or, “Highly suggestive of malignancy,” the results must be communicated as soon as possible (ordinarily accomplished within five working days).
