Dictionary: The PMAP is the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) uniform performance management system that identifies both organizational and individual goals and objectively evaluates employee performance. OM is responsible for ensuring that CBER supervisors complete PMAPs for employees (newly hired, promoted or reassigned) within the DHHS established timeframes. Timely establishment of PMAPs ensures employees with a new status and management are aware of the employees’ responsibilities and performance expectations.
