Number of FDA sponsored regulatory science training events completed

Dictionary: A key focus of the OSPD is to enhance training for FDA staff by working with FDA subject matter experts and collaborating with external organizations. Measuring the number of training events and completions allows OSPD to meet Agency-wide training needs. Additionally, OSPD augments continuing education opportunities for FDA clinical staff who are physicians, nurses, pharmacists and veterinarians. When a training event is approved to award continuing education, FDA clinical staff request to receive continuing education, and they must complete the requirements. The same participant is counted more than once if more than one event was attended.
