Make White Oak Facilities Assigned to CDRH More Workplace Friendly

Description: The White Oak campus, Buildings 66, 64, 62, and 130, and CDRH workplace policies will provide CDRH employees with a work environment that promotes productivity, accessibility, and quality of work life.

Accomplishment: OMO compiled a list of 10 physical improvement categories to the common-use areas of CDRH facilities that would maximize employee productivity, accessibility and quality of work life. Projects suggestions were submitted by both CDRH management and employees. The 10 selected physical improvement categories were related to: accessibility, conference rooms, atrium offices, restrooms, heat/HVAC issues, noise reduction in office areas, parking, installation of bulletin boards, electrical work and food services. CDRH employees were provided with updates throughout the implementation of the improvement projects. At the completion of this project, CDRH issued an all hands email to staff to provide an update on the status of the 10 completed improvement projects. The Center will continue to solicit suggestions and work closely with the agency to maintain these recent improvements and to further improve the workplace friendliness of our facility.
