4 Contraindications

ACEON® (perindopril erbumine) is contraindicated in patients known to be hypersensitive (including angioedema) to this product or to any other ACE inhibitor. ACEON is also contraindicated in patients with hereditary or idiopathic angioedema.

Do not co-administer aliskiren with ACEON in patients with diabetes.

ACEON is contraindicated in combination with neprilysin inhibitor (e.g., sacubitril). Do not administer ACEON within 36 hours of switching to or from sacubitril/valsartan, a neprilysin inhibitor.

5 Warnings and Precautions

5.1 Anaphylactoid and Possibly Related Reactions

Patients taking concomitant mTOR inhibitor (e.g., temsirolimus) therapy or a neprilysin inhibitor may be at increased risk for angioedema.

7 Drug Interactions

7.10 Neprilysin Inhibitor

Patients taking concomitant neprilysin inhibitors may be at increased risk for angioedema.

7.9 mTOR Inhibitors

Patients taking concomitant mTOR (mammalian target of rapamycin) inhibitor therapy may be at increased risk for angioedema.
