International Activities
Drug safety is a global endeavor. There are some drug safety activities in almost every country. The World Health Organization (WHO) 
is working with both countries that do not yet have a formal program and those that do. OSE works with its international counterparts through FDA's Office of International Programs to participate on working groups related to drug safety. OSE submits adverse event reports to the Uppsala Monitoring Centre , a WHO Collaborating Center, for inclusion in its safety database and sits on the WHO advisory committee for the safety of medicinal products.
