Product complaint # (b)(4).Depuy synthes is submitting this report pursuant to the provisions of 21 cfr, part 803.This report may be based on information which depuy synthes has not been able to investigate or verify prior to the required reporting date.This report does not reflect a conclusion by fda, depuy synthes or its employees that the report constitutes an admission that the device, depuy synthes, or its employees caused or contributed to the potential event described in this report.If information is obtained that was not available for the initial medwatch, a follow-up medwatch will be filed as appropriate.
 
Event Description
Adverse event: knee hemarthrosis.Investigator initiated study (b)(4) sagittal stability study patient received attune implant as per study (nil specific product information provided in the report received, selected one unknown attune component to complete submission of report only).Patient was readmitted to hospital (b)(6) 2022 and discharged (b)(6) 2022.Hemarthrosis after 2 mechanical fall.Ct scan (no fractures), persistent lateral knee pain.Patient had right knee aspirate ? 40ml of frank blood (as per report), no crystals, no bacteria, no growth culture.Currently listed as ongoing.Doi: (b)(6) 2022.Doe: (b)(6) 2022.
