Event Description
|
It was reported that the numbers on the insulin pump scroll, without any input from the customer.
Customer's blood glucose level at the time was unknown.
Troubleshooting occurred.
Advised to discontinue use of the insulin pump, and revert to a back-up plan.
The customer was advised that the device would be replaced and agreed to return the product for analysis.

|
The insulin pump was received with intermittent button response due to moisture damage on the keypad trace.
No frozen display noted and the numbers do not ramp up on its own or scroll bar moving with no input.
The insulin pump has minor scratched lcd window, cracked case near the display window corners, battery tube threads cracked and cracked reservoir tube lip.
