Event Description
It was reported that the customer had a keypad anomaly on the insulin pump that occurred during setting a bolus.Customer's blood glucose was 12 mmol/l.Customer was advised that the pump will need to be replaced.Customer was also advised to revert to a back-up plan.
 
Manufacturer Narrative
The pump was received with intermittent button response due to corroded keypad traces.No button error alarms were noted.The pump also had minor scratches on the lcd window, and a broken belt clip slot.
