Subpart B - Specific Tolerances for Residues of Approved and Conditionally Approved New Animal Drugs

Sec. 556.600 Spectinomycin.

(a) Acceptable daily intake (ADI). The ADI for total residue of spectinomycin is 25 [micro]g/kg of body weight per day.

(b) Tolerances. The tolerances for spectinomycin are:

(1) Cattle. (i) Kidney (target tissue): 4 ppm spectinomycin (marker residue).

(ii) Muscle: 0.25 ppm.

(2) Chickens and turkeys. Edible tissues (excluding eggs): 0.1 ppm.

(3) Swine. Edible tissues: Not required.
