Event Description
Information was received from a consumer regarding a patient who was implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins).The consumer reported that the patient¿s ins battery didn¿t even last a year.The consumer reported that the patient was promised that the ins battery would last about 5 years.The consumer was unsure what date the ins stopped working.No further complications were reported.

Event Description
Additional information received from the consumer reported that there were no changes to the implant, it just stopped working after about six months.The patient stated it had been causing them a lot of pain and lack of sleep as they couldn¿t turn over on the side of the device.
