Event Description
It was reported that catheter entrapment on guidewire occurred.The 100% stenosed target lesion was located in the mildly tortuous and severely calcified anterior tibial artery.A 2.0mm x 150mm x 150cm coyote balloon catheter was advanced for dilatation.However, during first inflation, the shaft of the balloon catheter was stuck on another manufactures guidewire.The device was completely removed from the patient's body and the procedure was completed with another of the same device.No patient complications nor injuries were reported.
