The recipient reportedly experienced device migration.The recipient is presented with intermittent throbbing in both ears, a burning sensation at the implant site, and discomfort with after a 6 hour period of device use.The recipient's device was explanted.The recipient was reimplanted with another advanced bionics cochlear device.
