Event Description
It was reported that the patient was implanted with an adjustable shunt on (b)(6) 2020 due to hydrocephalus.After surgery, the patient developed intra-abdominal infection.The patient was currently hospitalized and still had intra-abdominal infection.

Event Description
Additional information received reported that there were no environmental/external/patient factors that may have led or contributed to the issue.The actions taken to resolve the issue was the patient had finished pressure adjustment.

Event Description
Additional information received reported that the reason for the pressure adjustment was a ct scan showed enlargement of the patient's ventricle.It was also stated that the doctor prescribed antibiotics to treat the infection in the abdominal cavity.
