Event Description
It was reported that after explantation of the implantable cardiac monitor (icm) a thin and transparent layer remains in the device pocket.Upon extraction and visual analysis it was thought that the layer could be the parylene cover of the device.The icm was discarded.No patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
