Event Description
It was reported that the procedure was to treat a lesion in the fully occluded mid left anterior descending (lad) coronary artery.The lesion was pre-dilated and the 3.0x23 mm xience xpedition stent was deployed at 16 atm.Fluoroscopy after stenting showed a dissection at the distal end of the stent.Another xience xpedition stent was used to cover the dissection.There were no adverse patient sequela and there was no reported clinically significant delay in the procedure.No additional information was provided.
