Information was received from a patient who was implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for unknown indications for use.It was reported that patient had been electrocuted around (b)(6) of 2019.Pt stated she was in a car wreck because of it and her leg was spasming.Pt stated she stopped using her stimulator after that but now her dr wants to go try using it again.On (b)(6) 2021, patient reported that the electrocution feels like real shocking.It happens occasionally and sometimes when walking, sometimes when sleeping when she turns side etc.When it happens, her legs start jerking and twitching.Patient turns the device off when she drives or sleeps at night.Patient was in a car wreck because of the electrocution around (b)(6) 2019.Ever since, she does not turn it on when driving.Patient added the therapy works fine otherwise.They checked the device with their devices and all the reading come out fine.No one knows the cause.Patient stated it takes 6-8 months to get an appointment with her doctor but will try to get one sooner so imaging can be done to find the root cause and address the issue.
